Kidapawan City. May 1, 2024. – Atty. William M. Angos, CPA has been sworn in as the new General Manager (GM) of Metro Kidapawan Water District (MKWD), during the Labor Day celebration organized by the MKWD Union of Employees at the MKWD Covered Court today.

The position became vacant following the official retirement of former GM Stella M. Gonzales on April 30, 2024. In response to this vacancy, Atty. William M. Angos, CPA, was appointed as the General Manager of MKWD by virtue of Resolution no. 068, dated April 22, 2024, by the MKWD Board of Directors.

The resolution emphasizes the necessity of appointing a leader who can effectively govern and manage MKWD within the legal framework. Atty. Angos’ appointment comes with a term of office of six (6) years, effective from May 1, 2024, to April 30, 2030.

The guest of honor, during the Labor Day celebration, Kidapawan City Mayor Hon. Atty. Jose Paolo M. Evangelista, administered the oath of office to the newly-appointed General Manager.
