Following are the accomplished projects within the second quarter of 2012:
1) The Installation of 75 mm Ø uPVC pipes Distribution Line at Kansi to Libre was completed in April this year. The project located in Barangay Poblacion, Kidapawan City was tapped at the three inches line near Kansi residence from where pipes were installed going to Libre Rice Mill along the road leading to Barangay Magsaysay and farther down. The number of pipes totaled thirty-nine (39) or 234 meters in length.
This project which is included in the Systems Improvement and Expansion Program (SIEP 2009) of MKWD has a total project cost of Php 394,531.85.
This distribution line will facilitate the supply of water to Barangays Magsaysay, Kalaisan and others.
2) As requested by the Barangay Council of Saguing, Makilala through resolution no. 36, series of 2011 dated September 8, 2011, phase 2 of the installation of 50 mm Ø uPVC distribution line at Purok Mahayahay was implemented. Phase 1 of this project was implemented and completed a few years back. Materials for this said project was provided by the barangay LGU while the supervision and labor components were handled by MKWD.
Fifty-nine (59) pieces or a total length of 354 meters of 50 mm Ø uPVC pipes were installed in Purok Mahayahay, Saguing, Makilala to provide water to at least fifteen (15) households.
The project has a total cost of Php192, 780.20. It was accomplished in June 2012.
3) Another project requested by the Barangay Saguing officials was the installation of 50 mm Ø uPVC distribution line at Kalye Putol also in Purok Mahayahay, Saguing. Twenty-two pieces or a total length of 132 meters of two inches pipes were installed to benefit at least fifteen (15) households.
The barangay LGU procured the materials for this project which has a total cost of Php 146, 840.86 while MKWD provided the labor component.
