MKWDs Vision-Mission and Goal fused into this that says committed to service, development and self-reliant. in this manner as an advocacy of the Metro Kidapawan Water District to provide community extension services to the marginalized men, women and children within its coverage areas by providing them medical assistance through a medical outreach program.
GM Stella M. Gonzales said that “Historically, MKWD had been successful in conducting such activity in various barangays. this year is a no exemption because MKWD wished to reach out even more to our customers who experiences the struggles and challenges of life on primary health care issues. With the partnership of MKWD Board of Directors Chairman Dr. Alfredo S. Villarico and the Madonna Medical Center, Inc. Doctors and Pharmacist and MAGIRCO General Manager at the same MKWD Board of Director Emmanuel S. Zamoras, we can help provide medical assistance to the needy.”
As to MKWD, the Gender and Development Committee together with the Women Employees Association take advantage of any and every oppurtunity to conduct and provide medical assistance for our consumers through Medical Outreach Activity.
Last August 2, 2019 the Medical Outreach Activity was conducted and to act as a beacon of light and hope for people who often feel abandoned, neglected and forgotten about MKWD, Madonna Medical Center Inc. and MAGIRCO brings this activity in Magpet Gymnasium to cater more consumers who needs medical assistance and help them defray medical expenses and provided medical services. Free check-up or consultation is conducted (like Medical, Dental, Optical and more) plus free medicines are being handheld to the beneficiaries. Eyeglasses are also being given from Dr. Divine Grace Segocio, Blodletting Activity is also conducted from Kidapawan City Health Office, Proper brushing of teeth are conducted by the Dental Association.
