MKWD CELEBRATES WORLD WATER DAY
The UN-Water is the convener for World Water Day and selects the theme for each year in consultation with UN organizations that share an interest in that year’s focus.
The theme for 2020 is “Water and Climate Change” and explores how the two issues are inextricably linked.
In the Philippines, together with the Local Water Utilities Administrator and all Local Water Districts, World Water Day PH celebrated with, the theme is “TUBIG PANGALAGAAN, NAGBABAGONG KLIMA LABANAN.”
In conconance to this, MKWD prepared activities for Schools and consumers but it was postponed due to COVID19 Pandemic. In God’s grace we will push through the activities on a later date.
