Gonzales, mps called in all the respective Divisions in the Alley for Photoshot and declared the tournament open. This was followed by ceremonial throw of all the 10 division manager’s with Director Susie Serquiña doing the honors for the OGM. Present during the tournament were our very supportive Chairman of the Board Corazon G. Malaluan, BOD Susana A. Serquiña, BOD Dolores P. Aranas and BOD Maria Theresa P. Eduave.
The tournament started simply without all the fuss of the usual sports events but full of surprises from all the participants vying to be the best. An out of town treat for the division was the major prize to be awarded but not beyond Davao City. Cheers and chants filled the venue, and you can just imagine the excitement and agitation that is vibrating in the air. Everybody were filled with excitement considering that most of the employees were first timers in handling the balls and hitting the pins especially those from the sources. No wonder after the games most of the employees want to have more of the tournament in the future. Congratulations to the General Services Division through the leadership of Guillermo Baclayon who won the tournament. Imagine beating the Operations & Maintenance Division who are all seasoned/veterans in this kind of game. Each of the divisions wanted a rematch to make “bawi”, they were challenge to make good next time around. We are waiting and anticipating for your next move Chairman Elben! Kudos to the organizers and to the management for the untiring support to our physical fitness program especially to our BOD and to our ever energetic GM Stella M. Gonzales, mps.
