CENRO-KIDAPAWAN DONATES WASTE BINS TO MKWD

In line with the City Government’s commitment to deliver efficient waste management service, the City Environment and Natural Resources Office distributed waste bins to selected entities which began last July 1, 2020.
The Metro Kidapawan Water District is privileged to be selected as one of the City Government’s programs that will ensure clean surroundings and a sound environment. CENRO delivered three waste bins at the MKWD Office last July 16, 2020. It was placed at the entrance of the main building.

A nine-point agreement outlined in a Manifest sealed the Solid Waste Management Partnership signed by MKWD General Manager Stella M. Gonzales, City ENRO Edgar S. Paalan, and City Mayor Joseph A. Evangelista.
GM Gonzales said in an interview that MKWD appreciates the move of the City Government and the CENRO. She further pointed out that as a water utility, the Metro Kidapawan Water District remains to be one of the sincerest advocates of environmental protection and they are now conducting a series of water source inspections and tree planting activities in its watershed areas. Gonzales stressed further that MKWD will be ever supportive of the Government’s initiatives on environmental preservation and protection. MKWD is also a steward of the environment as it ensures water security that guarantees the sustainability of its committed service.
